Your organisation (employer or club) is responsible for the driving licence check. The platform die-fuehrerscheinkontrolle.de is operated on its behalf (processing on behalf of a controller, Art. 28 GDPR).
Purpose: proof of a valid driving licence for driving company or club vehicles. The vehicle keeper is obliged to check this (Section 21 German Road Traffic Act, StVG).
Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(b) and (c) GDPR (employment or membership relationship, legal obligation of the keeper).
Stored data: date and result of the check, expiry date, licence categories, licence number and non-health-related codes (e.g. 95, 96). Name and date of birth are used only to match you with your organisation’s staff list.
Health-related codes (e.g. 01.01 glasses) are not stored. Only the fact that such conditions exist and whether you confirmed compliance is recorded.
No photo, scan or copy of the licence is stored. Authenticity is verified cryptographically when you share it from your wallet.
You decide in your wallet whether and to which organisation data is sent. Nothing is stored until you submit.
Retention: check records are deleted after the period set by your organisation (default three years). Deleted persons are permanently removed after the same period.
Your rights: access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing and the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. Please contact your organisation. The platform operator is named in the legal notice.
